ICC Suspends Sri Lanka Cricket Board. The International Cricket Council ICC has suspended Sri Lanka SLC as they have much involvement of the government and its administration. This is also called a suspension and it’s just a warning so they can further interface.
There will be no immediate effect on Sri Lankan Cricket. There are no more games of ICC until December and no ICC funds are due until January.
ICC Suspends Sri Lanka Cricket BoardThe ICC Cricket Board mentioned the situation online. They will decide on the next phase during their in-person meeting on November 21. Sri Lanka Cricket might have expected this move. They also believe that they requested to take a different type of action.
